Freddie Mac has launched a new channel to educate distressed borrowers about the steps they need to keep their home and avoid foreclosure: a series of videos posted on YouTube. These informative videos break down barriers of common misconceptions that prevent people from keeping their home if they face foreclosure. Our YouTube series of videos are another way for you to deliver positive results in your community by providing consumers with reliable information that will help them take the next step toward sustainable homeownership.
We have developed five short videos that each address a different, popular myth related to foreclosure. Each video uses a spokesperson to dispel the myths. The video series leverages the content in our Get the Facts on Homeownership workshop presentation materials that we shared with you last September.
All of the videos are housed on Freddie Mac’s YouTube channel. We have created a playlist of all five videos to make it easy for you to view and share the videos.
The YouTube series of videos introduces an excellent platform for you to strengthen your business development strategy by providing more borrowers with information that will put them in a better position to keep their home long term. To ensure widespread distribution of the videos to borrowers, we encourage you to add the video series to your Web site. We’ve included easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions below.
If you need assistance embedding these videos, please forward this e-mail to the manager of your Web site.
